Colombo, Sri Lanka – 17 th September, 2026 — Six months ago, Salesforce co-founder Parker Harris made a bold prediction: “You may never log in to Salesforce again.” We call that vision Slackforce: a conversational, AI-powered interface to Salesforce, built directly into the flow of work in Slack. Today, Salesforce is introducing Slackforce Surfaces. Now, teams can transform data from Salesforce and beyond into rich, interactive experiences inside Slack, visualized in virtually any way they can imagine. The new capability addresses a gap between having information and turning it into something a team can use together. Decisions get made in conversations, while context lives across messages, data, and connected systems. Slackforce Surfaces lets anyone turn that context into a live, interactive interface just by asking Slackbot. A Surface stays connected to the data behind it and refreshes automatically as the underlying data changes. Slackbot can build dashboards, reports, executive HTML decks, or interactive experiences grounded in real-time data. Teams can ask follow-up questions about their live data right there, whenever they need to. A Surface pulls directly from Salesforce, Slack history, and other enterprise data, while existing permissions remain in place. Teams can filter, explore, comment, drill into records and messages, and act together in real time. Pinning a Surface to a channel makes it part of the workspace. The experience starts with a single prompt. Slackbot can determine the best format, from an interactive dashboard or executive presentation to a microsite, calculator, or entirely new experience, and style it for the audience and purpose. Slackforce Surfaces is available today for Enterprise+, Business+, Pro, Legacy, and Free Teams with Slackbot enabled. Live data feature begins rollout in October. This makes the conversation itself a place where teams can understand information and act on it together. The approach is designed to keep context, data, and action together in one place.
