Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise for Financial Services, an agentic AI platform purpose-built for capital markets and corporate banking workflows. The product combines four core components: domain-specific financial skills, secure Model Context Protocol connectors to licensed data sources, a Financial Research agent with over 50 prebuilt skills, and an open partner ecosystem spanning 14 global systems integrators and fintech providers. Key use cases include KYC analysis, bond portfolio risk assessment reduced to under 5 minutes, credit mispricing identification, and compressing bond issuance pitch timelines from days to minutes. The platform integrates with major financial data providers including FactSet, S&P Global, Moody's, MSCI, PitchBook, and LSEG, with access governed by existing role-based entitlements and a centralized control plane enforcing security and data lineage. The offering targets institutions that require verifiable grounding, traceable citations, and strict data isolation as prerequisites for production AI deployment.
